Okay A Quick Photo

Thursday 10:00pm
Okay.. I couldn’t let it go without a photo. Here’s a few of our pack. Gunther on the left is a five year old shepherd rescued from Harbor Humane Society a few days before he was to be put down. He was a mess, fungal infections, ear infections, and worms. He is a beautiful boy today and my best buddy. Center is Blake, a three year old shepherd rhodesian ridgeback mix. We adopted him from Ingham County Animal shelter. He had been found wandering the streets of Lansing. And of course Chance. Chance gets along great with all our boy and girls, even the kitties. Missing from the photo is our beloved Wyatt, a three year old boxer rottweiler mix, the most lovable dog on the planet. As foster mom says… he’s like a bowl of warm oatmeal. Also missing is Trevor, our four year old Chow-Shiba Enu mix, cute as all get out and a real pistol, then lastly our latest rescue turned family member, Jackie, an eight year old Jack Russell Terrier. The only female in the bunch and at 17 lbs, she runs the house.

Thanks for the updates and pic. What pretty boys! Again, bless all of you who have taken care of Chance and bless the lucky person that gets to adopt him!
What a “pack” of beautiful kids!
geez…….what a huge family…..God bless all that you do for the dogs!!
Good energy your way!!
Someone mentioned that Chance was spared for a reason. Here is a thought that just came to mind as I was reading the blogs. Being as he is very much “toy motidated” and sounds like a dog that likes to be busy, and with people, I wonder if he would be a good canidate for a law enforcement dog such as a drug sniffing dog or some other form of police work. ( assuing that he goes home each night with a loving handler and not caged.) They say that a toy movitated dog is well suited to this type of work.
He would stay in the lime-light and his history would not be forgotten by the masses. He would continue to bring awareness to animal abuse. I bet he is smart and would train easy. He would get a lot of praise while in training and on the job. I bet he would think that “he was one smart dog!”
This is just a thought, but this I do know. Lannie will make sure this dog will get one great home, regardless where it goes. Lannie, you are totally committed to your pets and I thank God for people like you.
